For a while I was using free Netzero and free Juno.  There is a downside because they were dial-up ISPs and I had to deal with a slow connection and pop ups.  I guess it's true that.....

you get what you pay for or don't pay for.

I haven't heard of any company that will give you free internet just by watching ads.  I know you can get free connection by hitting Wi-Fi that is available in many establishments now (McD's, Starbucks, etc.).
