I have found that the heart tends to lead to sorrow and destruction.  The only way you will experience true joy and peace is to realize how much Jesus loves you and that He came to give His life for you so you can have a relationship with God.  God's ways are opposite of this world but promises joy and peace that the world cannot deliver.  Follow Jesus, not your heart!
