Do you love NYC?

I never been to NYC.  But it's definitely on my travel list of places to visit. I heard that there's a lot of good restaurants and would love to see a Broadway show.

Funny that you should bring this subject up as my wife and Daughter are spending this weekend in Manhattan-celebrating my daughter's sixteenth birthday (omg-where has the last sixteen years gone!)! They flew in on Thursday night, spent yesterday eating and touring(the Statue of Liberty and City library). Last night they went to the Phantom of the Opera after a really nice, and expensive, dinner.  We are from Colorado and my daughter is cracking up because everyone thinks that she has an accent!  I think that they are headed to Soho and Greenwich Village today to get some shopping in!

I like to go to NYC but it is just so expensive just getting there and being there and usually the traffic is nuts. If you can find an off day which is usually Wednesday, Thursday and sometimes Saturday its not to bad traveling there. A lot of times going on Saturday is a really good day to go there.

My dad took me there in 1997 to visit some family. I had a wonderful time. I got to see New Jersy, Queens hey I even went to the bronzes. I got lost and ended up there, Long story.

I love the city. I live an hour outside of it.

We lived in NYC or around there back in the 50's.  My father work in NYC for 4 years.  We liked it up there.  We could see the Empire State building from our back yard.  We are from middle TN and I live here now.  But I liked it up there.  My mother was on the Price is Right while we were up there.  HOPE everyone has a wonderful Sunday and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

I have never been to New York City, but this is one place that I would love to visit one day.  I would love to see the Statue of Liberty and some of the other sites in New York City.

my dream since i was a little kid was to have a home in Los angeles as well as have one in new york, i wish to at least visit there once
