I've heard of such rumors, but I'm not sure of the validity of it. I was offered it once on a PTC site as a means to advertise to a certain amount of members.
It had value but came with a whole lot of spam, no, I don't think I'd get pay on Facebook.

Absolutely not.  And if people are smart enough to not pay, this ridiculous "service" will go away in a month.

I really don't think anybody should pay for anything on Facebook. yesterday they placed ads on my timeline under my status column and along the sides as well. That just started sometime yesterday. I was on during the day then logged off and come back on that night only to see the ads going like crazy. I don't like this. It is so distracting to me and of course Facebook don't tell you that they are changing stuff until they do it. Yes so they have to be making a good mint charging money to the ads companies. So knowing this why should anybody have to pay A dollar for sending a message. Yes I agree Facebook is turning greedy big time. I'm surprise they haven't changed from being free to charging a monthly fee for being a member on Facebook without telling anybody until they do it as well yet. Oh wait that will be next I can feel it though my bones.

NO! I would not pay to send a message not on my contact list.  I guess they need the money than the rest of us who are struggling like the rest of us.  It just seems every time I turn around businesses want more money and trying to increase price when we are not getting many hours at work, and any other forms of income we may have. Everything is going up like our groceries, utilities, rent I just don't know what we are all g about this situation.

I wouldn't pay it, but I probably wouldn't send a note to someone on my list anyways.

Nope.  Not willing to pay unless it's a life or death situation and I have no other way to contact that person. There's been a lot of rumors of FB making people pay for select services over the years so I really don't even pay them any attention anymore.

YES I would pay $1 to contact someone who showed promise as a new prospect and have gladly done it a few times already. I just make sure I have a good message to deliver that has a good chance of making that connection that leads to a nice commission down the road.
