Do you think you should be able to wear a hat anywhere? church, restaurant, ....

We were taught that it was respectful and manners. You know how dirty some of those hats are. In our part of the country, outside of this youngest generation all men remove there hats except at auctions and outside events. Cowboys are always gentlemen. They will take their hats off outside and knock them on their jeans to rid them of dust before ever comming inside. Give me a cowboy everytime.

It depends.  I will wear a hat when it is a bad hair day or when it is too sunny.  I wore a cute little hat to church.  It ended up being a problem because I sing in the church choir.  I am now getting my hair done.

I think anyone should be able to wear their hats anywhere, but be kind enough to remove it if in a theater, and it is blocking the person behind them from seeing the movie.
