growing hair
« on: April 11, 2009, 01:30:59 pm »
Do you know if you put things on your scalp if it will grow your hair faster then eating right? Most people believe that its what you eat and that after time you will strenghten any new growth while making it shiny at the same time but you will also have to take vitamins to boost hair growth which will help to keep it strong or else what you put in really won't be as much help to the process because hair needs certain daily vitamins to maintain its resistance to things like the weather or smoke if you smoke cigarettes. And the same goes for using products on the scalp to maximize hair growth you must use the same thing at least three months to notice any change and when you do try not to get excited and start over heating or curling switching up your daily hair style using anything that can cause tension or dry  your hair it could lead to breakage and boy what a waste of time. :icon_rr:

It is an old wives tale being that eating right grows your hair.  Stress can also cause your hair to break, which is a bummer.

I think a good healthy diet and drinking plenty of water helps grow your hair.  I'm not too sure all these products in the stores will actually grow your hair.  When in doubt, try asking your doctor.  The doctor should know.

i have also heard that if your hormones are off, it can effect your hair, i am 40 , and i notice a difference in how thinck my hair is now, so i think age is a factor to.
