Ruined Weekend
« on: December 28, 2012, 08:55:44 am »
Well my mom was supposed to come visit this weekend but said she would have rather next weekend and made up all kinds of excuses. This would have been a much better weekend. So now my birthday is ruined because of her. I told her not to even bother.
Sometimes I wish I was an orpahn. O probably would have been better of with no parents than  having parents who always break proises all the time.

Sorry I needed to vent!

Maybe you and your mother need to talk to someone, because this could be a deeper problem.

When my husband was younger he had an uncle who always made promises and such and never followed through. It broke his heart deeply. I know you love your mother but if this is a pattern of hers to do this to you all the time you should seek professional counseling to learn how to handle your relationship with her. I wish you the very best.

first Happy Birthday. Sorry your mom let you down again.  One you can not change your mom,  You have to learn how to deal with it, with out being so upset.
Hope you have a wonderful Birthday.

Happy Birthday Lovekittytam!!!

Some things we have no control over, but don't let them still any other majic moments!  All that means, is don't let the disappointment make you miss other fun majic moments.  Like here at Fusion Cash, so many wish you a Happy Birthday from the bottom of their hearts!  We feel for you and your disappointment.  So many times I was so bummed I missed what was good or what someone else tried to do for me or cheer me up, etc.  Don't let the negative make you miss anything else!  Otherwise it is like the negative won . . .    Don't let anyone steal majic moments from you with THEIR problems. Don't rely on them for your happiness.  Smile!  You are worth the smile and happiness and majic!  Treat yourself in some way that is special to you!

Wishing you much happiness and majical moments for your birthday!!!!    and everyday!

First, Happy Birthday!! Second, remember that you cannot control the actions of other people, no matter who they are or how much you love them. So do not let them ruin anything for you. I know that is not easy, but remember that you are a special person and if others choose not to be there for you, it's their loss more than yours.

It's okay to vent! I actually like it and do it myself of a daily basis! Haha!!  :bs:
I had a mom that promised things, but wasn't there for me when I really needed her to be there. But today, she is in my life again and sometimes I don't understand why, but I think she feels kinda bad for not being there before for me like I wanted her too.

Now on the other hand, wait until you get married and have a mother-in-law from hell, in which I have. She CONSTANTLY makes promises to my husband, me and our son and never fulfills those promises!!! Makes me so freaking mad!!  :BangHead:
I call her on the phone and tell her I don't want her around my son because I have caught her in so many lies and I don't want my son around that. I only allow her to come over sometimes just to be civil because she will always be my son's grandma, but I swear, I want to sometimes blow her brains out! There I vented too today and feel much better! So thank you! lol  ;)

quit butting your head against the wall. Do your own thing and enjoy it. Usually things have a way of working out.

Hey, I know sometimes things do not turn out the way we plan them, however, to say you wish do were an orphan is kind of harsh, there are people out there who would love just to have someone they can call mom, even if it meant being disappointed with them. Just make them best of it.

Since you have no control over what your mom does you probably need to just accept her as she is and go on.  I wish someone had told me that years ago and maybe I wouldn't have cried so many tears over some of the things she said to me.  Try not to be so upset and don't let your mom ruin your birthday.

Happy Birthday :) to you and all the best to you! I hope one things will be better between you and your mom, if you are able to express your feelings to her without an argument then do so and cheer up after all you are alive and so many people on FC are wishing you all the best strangers that you don't know so as you can see/read there are people who do care about your feelings and wish you all the best with your mom!!!
