You could try healthy coffee. That is what it is called healthy coffee. Or try a coffee low on acidity.

What is healthy coffee? I have stopped drinking coffee for the past couple of days and started getting bad headaches.

The only time I ever got heartburn is when I was pregnant. If you take in to many sugars and carbs and things without detoxing your body it makes your body ph acidic. I find that drinking a lot of water. (at least 32 oz a day) helps to keep my ph balanced. Also you can get a kelp supplement that will make your ph more alkaline as well. Detox tea found in any supermarket in the tea isle is really a good idea for all around health. Especially if you eat a lot of junk food like donuts and processed food on a daily basis. I like Daily Detox tea. Can also help you lose weight. Assuming of course that you are like most of us that need to watch our weight.  ;)

Coffee with half the amount of caffeine is more gentle and won't give you heartburn; my husband has the same problem.
