i was never credited and i called a few times reaching a little over 3 mins.  i'm wondering why. did you hit 3 mins or did you went on to 4 mins? i 'm starting to think it's actually 4 mins or more.

This was very easy and short. You don't have to stay on the phone for an extended amount of time. I believe @ least 3 min.

Can't call that one until a least Saturday, 11-17-12. So the system says when I try. A monthly award was created for me at a major corporation when it was found out I could stay on the phone longer then anyone else. It was noticed at another company I worked for as well. Learned how from Tom "Big Al" Schreiter, Houston, TX, with his lessons on small and other kinds of talk. One thing I do is slow my talk speed down, by writing things down as I go along. Ask the persons name write it down and later in the call ask for a number and time to get back to that person. After we get talking I always throw in some small talk, like I am going to say "... hope you can recommend a dentist that helps people who are afraid (I won't use that now just in case someone here reads this, lol!) of pain. Then I would go off on a short friendly tangent for a while. Reverse customer service and still get everything done. Good Luck!

I was on for lil over 8 minutes. I was really looking for a dentist. I need some work done, but they didn't have any dentists in my area. The closest one was 45 minutes away. Too far.

Like some of the other member, I really need a new dentist. I am looking for one in my area who uses gas. I do not need to go right away, fortunately, but eventually I will have to.  I am going to try this Call for Dentist Referral. Thank you for this discussion. It was very informative and helpful.  

I made the call and I got the $2.00. Another big thanks for posting your discussion. It was all the encouragement that I needed to make the call. 

The dentist sounded great but unfortunately, she was too far of a distance for me to consider going to her. The phone number is that of a Dentist Referral Agency. They only recommend dentists who are members. They have no members close to me.

This was a really easy call to do. The gentleman is going to be calling me back tomorrow, however, because I didn't have our dental insurance information at home (my husband keeps it on him in his wallet and he is at work). However, the gentleman that I was talking to had a lot to say that didn't even have to do with finding a dentist at all. We had a conversation for over a minute about my name (it's unique) then he was telling me that I should answer the phone tomorrow if it is an 800 number around one in the afternoon.

I'm looking for a pediatric dentist for my children and I need one as my son needs to have a dental check-up and my daughter needs some fillings as well. I honestly have to say that I look forward to hearing back from them and I hope that they do have a good pediatric dentist in our area.
