So how do you celebrate your birthday?

last December i had a small party with my family and a small celebration with my friends
I do both but do them separately
I just stopped planning my birthday out because my expectations are always wayyy too high and that's the one day i don't want to be disappointed on.

I am 27 and I celebrate less and less each year.  I might go out to eat, but that would be the most I would do to celebrate it.
