Do you go shopping on Black Friday?

No thanks - I prefer to stay home - I've done it before though, and it was quite an adventure. My mom loves to go though.

On another note, thoughts about Walmart opening up their stores Thursday night and employees going on strike over it?

No way - I don't like going shopping anyway but I for sure don't like to go on Black Friday when there are a million crazy stupid acting people out all fighting for the same stuff.  Prefer to shop online anyway.

I don't personally, nor does my wife. I have seen too many problems during "Black friday" Remember the Wal-Mart in NY that someone was trampled to death. I don't want to be a part of that!!

No I went once with my Aunt, it was the scariest thing I have ever had happen to me.

Bofore we had a child, my husband and i would leave a party that thanksgiving night and go to walmart to see what the deals were. We would reunite with alot of old friends that were in town for the holiday. Also we would see people that live here and we only catch on that day. After having a child, we don't want to be in the mist of it all. Last year we ordered online at midnight. Alot of times the deals they say they have may only have about 40% of the merchandise. Unless you get there early and stand in line, you will miss out anyway. To those that go,   to you because i don't ahve the strength anymore! LOL Happy Black Friday shopping to you!

I do go some years but I doubt I'll be able to make it this year. I'll do some online sales because there are actually things I need and it would be so much better on sale

No way jose. I have had to work a few of them and there is no way you could get to shop on black Friday. One time i was putting up a large display that was suppose to have been put up on Wed. But no they didn't do it. Anyway the doors opened before i could get the last display finished. People were awful. they were reaching over me and then knocked me too the floor and someone stepped on my hand. It was black and blue for almost 2 weeks. My right hand and i am right handed. Never ever again.

Last year my daughter and I started on Thanksgiving night and shopped all night long.  That was the longest night of my life.  Not going to do that this year.

Yes because it has been a tradition in my family since I was a baby my grandparents come out because they come from out of town to hit the sales and get gifts for all their children and grandchildren.

Have done it in the past, will NOT do it now.  I don't care if they give away free beer in layaway, will not do Black Friday shopping any more.  I deal with enough maniacal behavior on a daily basis.

I never have and I never will go shopping on Black Friday. Too many crazy people are out that day.
