Oh just ignore everything you don't like like the rest of us do. The more ammunition you give some the more they wil flaunt their so called expertise.  Those of who have faith know it cannot be shaken.

Blind faith trips over that which cannot be seen due to such blindness.

Most doctors hate cancer, but should that stop them form attempting to find a cure and just ignore the problem? And what kind of expertise are you talking about? I don't need to be an expert of the bible to not believe in it, nor even to argue against it. I doubt you are an expert of these following text:

The Mabinogion
The Book of the Dead
Amduat
Theogony
Brahmanas
The Qur'an
The Torah
The Talmud
The Ginza Rba
the Book of Giants
Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health
Book of Shadows
The Yasna
The Vedas
Or Even The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster

All are considered real religious text (Perhaps with the exception of that last one) and this list doesn't even cover a fraction of the text that are out there. I highly doubt anyone can be considered an expert on all religions (even is someone where to study it for decades). We are all guilty of ignorance but that doesn't mean we cannot argue and that doesn't mean that all of our arguments are unfounded. Most athiest's arguments are done out of principle, not expertise, and apply to all religious because they argue against the foundations that define what a religion even is.

Flackle,do you think a loving Creator would have left his creation in the dark?

Through-out history God has made his name known as well as his purpose.Shouldnt mankind at least meet HIM halfway?

Take two steps back, Flackie, I'm a fervent, almost fanatic, believer in the Flying Spaghetti Monster, although, in my religion, we call him the "Floating Spaghetti Spirit."

Have you ever been to Italia?  I have, quite a number of times.  Do you know the Italiano use nothing more than a fork, no knife, no spoon, to eat their spaghetti?  Just some friendly information from me to you.

Keep practicing with that fork, the best ones are with a rounded handle; and show some proper respect to the "Spaghetti Spirit."

Ciao bella.  OK, you have me on that one, I also need a knife and fork for lasagna, but it's a completely different lasagna from what they serve in the US.  Where were you in Italia?

Ciao bella.  OK, you have me on that one, I also need a knife and fork for lasagna, but it's a completely different lasagna from what they serve in the US.  Where were you in Italia?

I was with a tour group and we went to many cities. We started near rome and went up to Florence then Venice (stopping along bologna.) Hung out in the more mountainous regions but I don't remember the name of the city (It was very hilly, I remember long stretches of shops that went up a hill and some big church.) We then headed back to rome and most people left, but some of us had the extended trip and we got to spend a couple of days in Capri (Which I personally enjoyed because I was in awe when I saw the houses practically covering the face of the island.) There where many other places we went but I don't have remember them. I mostly remember traveling a lot in a bus for week.

The food varied widely. Sometimes it outright sucked (When we ate at the hotel, but I have never known good hotel food.) but when we actually got to eat at some of the restaurants it was great (except this one place that over this big highway with lots of windows. I don't remember what they called it, they had some name for it.) The pizza we got to eat for lunch was great but we didn't really eat any spaghetti or lasagna. It was mostly pasta, meat, and a "vegetable" ( eating french fries 6 days in a row for your vegetable is not a recommended experience, but that's what they served.) So I feel like I didn't get to fully experience the cuisine.

The main thing I liked where the sights, and there where plenty of them.

If calling unspecified others "ignorant" is ignorant itself, do you ignore yourself as well or, are you blinded by your ignorance?

Oh, please just grow up and knock it off!  People can't even have halfway decent conversations in any threads Christians choose to go in - this is absolutely ridiculous.

Nothing was mentioned specifically about "xtians", unless you merely assume that they are ignorant, (that being the context of the remarks).
