New Job
« on: September 29, 2012, 10:35:17 am »
Finally just started working someplace close to home at least it's job MCDONALDS. Can't remember if you work a week and get paid the following week or work 2 weeks and then get paid.

Congratulations on the new job.  You never know what it will lead to. I started a new job at Taco Mayo about 2 1/2 months ago and I already made Shift Manager. I was unemployed for 4 months, so this was a blessing.

I learned a lot from my job at Best Buy, but now I am semiconductor yield engineer at one of the major companies you've heard of. You'll be amazed where low level work can get you when you really focus on the important aspects of why your role exists.

McDonald's pays so low because it doesn't expect contributions from its employees. If you find a way to contribute in a bigger and better way than they expect then you can expect to move up the ladder.

Congrats! Somewhere to start at least - generally pay works on two week cycles!
