How to kill the garden insects and ants Organically? Did any one know what goods Organic product can be use to kill the insects and ants? My garden has ants everywhere, and I tried many different products, but they still there. I need help to kill those insects and ants.

I would love to know a little more about taking care of garden pests organically as well.  Maybe someone knows of a good book filled with this type information?

I had a problem with ants 2 years ago...I tried just about everything...from cinnamon to grits to mixing joy dish detergent and water....The dish detergent probably did the best of all 3...

Have you tried Food grade diatomaceous earth?

I just bought some from Earthworks Health to control crawling insects in my home, but what I've read about it, it is good in gardens to control insects as well.  Because it it food grade (ie can be eaten) it is also used in the food of animals to control parasites. 

Diatomaceous earth is ground up the silica shell left over when diatoms (single cell algae) die.  Because it is silica, even when it is finely ground up, there are sharp protusions that rub against the outer shell of crawling insects that, in time, will cause them to dehydrate and die.  Probably takes several days to complete the job.

It does require that the insects crawl through the stuff to be effective so you might have to apply it more than once since rain or watering the plants might wash it away.

There is also a Pool grade DE, which you would not want to use in your garden or feed your animals, since it is toxic.

Believe you can get both kinds at Home Depot and Lowes, so be careful that you get Food Grade DE.

On ant beds themselves you could try boiling hot water. You have to very careful not to burn yourself. But I boil a big pot on the stove and carry it to the ant bed itself and pour it over the bed. This kills them instantly and you will have killed the queen and the others will move on. Around you plants though I would use dish detergent as posted above. I would not spent alot of money on all those pesticides. When you have stuff in your kitchen that will work just as well.
