Jobs

It is so frustrating trying to find a job! I wish someone would just call me for interviews and finally hire me! Its been rough since I got laid off in May. Also I can't wait until I graduate college soon and find a better job!

When you do get one, walk in their like you already got it, not over confident, but confident that you are the right person and would be a good asset to their company.

Hang in there.  Sometimes things happen for a reason and maybe the right job for you is not ready to happen yet.  I'm sure it will soon.

Jobs are hard to get.  I work part time out of the home, I also have a homebased business that I will be working again.  I  let it go for awhile, do to a family illness.  Good luck to you.

:BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: I know what you mean.   The company I had worked for for 26 years was sold about 5 years ago.  Well the new company kept most of us on......for 6 months.  After that point, since we had trained their people in our jobs, they began to let us ALL go.  Since that point  I have not been able to keep a job for very long, I was an efficiency expert and accountant....unfortunately I keep working myself out of jobs.    I have had several really good jobs, except they pay 1/3 to 1/5 of what I had been making.  I am told they can hire 2 or 3 people just out of college for what they have to pay me.  So that is good for you.  I am now working about 8 part time jobs, anything to try and pay the bills.    I use to be kind of a snob about why people could not hold on to jobs.  But, now I have a new perspective.  Last hired, first fired (let go).  If you are over 50 they think you will only work a short time and then retire.  Fat chance of that now.  I think I would actually enjoy all of the part time work.....if only I could get benefits and together they would add up to a decent salary.    Sorry, just had to whine a little.    I really hope you have good luck finding a great career, not just a job!
