Stumbled across a Video about animal Farms!

In class session today I was teaching my son about predicates and exclamatory sentences. We had  the word potato in a sentence. My son said mom can you show me where potatoes come from. I figured youtube had some videos, so on our 20 min break in our search I stumbled acrossed many farm videos and one was of pigs and chickens.  I thought hey we can watch this video also so he can learn about those kinda farms also. Once clicked on it I had stepped away from pc for some water and I heard my son say Mom this is sick what is this. When I came back in room and saw what they doing to these poor animals it made me wanna just throw up. I apologized to my son for the mistake and Im glad he understood. I also had to find a video to assure him that not all Farms treat animals this way. I was so floored though and I felt so sorry for those animals and My son to have seen that.

That must of been so upsetting. A person has to be so careful. Sorry, your son had to see that stuff. People are trying to make things better but It sure is hard.
