Is this years Olympic basketball team better than the Dream Team?

i didn't even know the olympics hosted basketball?
how the heck do you get to be on that team? i thought
it stopped at NBA. then again, i'm not a sports person,
so it musta slipped by me

depends the dream team i think would win in a 7 game series like all the sport reporters seem to say...
i think this years team could take a game though...
i don't really know how the old players performed compared to these guys but the names of this years team i think are slighty undermatched to some of the legends

Just so happened the other day my dad had came over and we were talking about the olympics basketball team. He said that he wish it was more of a competition like they had it BEFORE they started using NBA players. he said that when the USA were using college players it was more of a competition but (in his opinion) they started using NBA players because they didn't want USA to lose. He feels that now its not much excitement to him watching the USA win by 30-50 points a game.

I agree that it's not exciting anymore.  It was fun when they couldn't use the pros and used the college players.

original was better but would have been closer match if some of this teams big men wern't hurt.
