Newsroom on HBO is on Sunday at nine.  This great drama stars Jeff Daniels.  I really enjoy this show and recommend it.

never heard of it. is it really news ? or just a show about news ?,  my fav show of all time is ncis. love it and have every season on dvd :)

Strangely, I don't like it. I was expecting to like it. I am a real news person in that I watch the news and news shows constantly throughout the day. I love HBO. I was looking so forward to this series and I am so disappointed. It just does not work for me. There are some very good actors. Top names are involved with the series. But I am not enjoying the acting or the show, I am finding it a bit on the silly side. I keep trying to watch it but I also get bored and annoyed and keep turning it off. It has gotten mixed reviews. Some persons, like yourself, love the show. Others, like me, are disappointed.  :dontknow:

   my Dad just told me about this Newsroom on HBO, and said that it is really good and I should start watching it

I only watch local news I figure if its going to happen I don't want to know let what ever comes come at night while I sleep so I don't feel anything.  Like tornados if I am already a sleep I don't stay up all night worring if I going to get it,  I have know where to go anyways and therefore no protection so let me just sleep.

I don't have HBO now but always loved Curb Your Enthusiasm and bought a boxed set, which I've never opened. LOL

who pays for HBO I don't. I pay for next lakes which gives me a lot of good movies to watch! So all I will pray for HBO to. Ha ha Hope you enjoy your HBO movie or HBO show whichever it is.
