Motorcycles: Cruiser or Touring or Sport?
« on: July 08, 2012, 09:48:52 pm »
At one time I owned a Touring motorcycle, built for speed and travel, and enjoyed my travels on it very much.  Recently, I got a Cruiser, built for travels, but it's taking me some time getting use to it.  So far I still enjoy the Touring-style.  Have yet to own a Sport style.  For those that ride motorcycles, which style do you like the most and how long have you been riding?  For those yet to buy a motorcycle, what style do you think you'll lean towards getting?

I owned a motorcycle in my youth.
I think I would enjoy a 3 wheel motorcycle these days.

My dream was to own a Hayabusa (fastest production motorcycle made) but now have gotten too old to enjoy it.  All of my money goes to satisfying the whims of my family.  Two full time jobs and I was living on two hard boiled eggs, ramen and a can of tuna fish while they all have time for sports, going out to eat, playing with friends...I am not too bitter am I?!?  A motorcycle was all that I have ever wanted...but my dream is dead.  My wife gets her luxury car first, my aughter gets a two year old car after and my son will be ready for a two year old car in two years.

I prefer a cruiser. Been riding about 10 years. I had a Honda Shadow but I totaled it so I'm currently without a bike. These nice summer days, man I've been itching, gonna get another real soon.
