I think it is too much work when it interferes with your personal life. I aslo think if you find yourself more exhausted than enjoying life, it is definitely too much work. So try to work smart not hard in the hours that you do work.

...Some good answers here.  When OT is taxed so the gov gets more than you do, its too much work.  Not being able to see your family is too much work.  Even if you love your job, you need a break and a personal life.

 :wave: well i guess it depends on if it a job versus a career. if no matter how many hours you work and you are never going to get promted and recognized for all your effort well it may get old real quick. but if the extra effort allows for growth in the company and new opportunities then can well be worth the effort. i guess what i am saying is it depends on your situation.

my husband feels the same about me but he doesnt work at all so it usually ends up in a arguement because if he did any kind of work i wouldnt have to work so much
