I am unemployed and got denied for unemployment because they said i quit which i did but my boss was not letting me take the vacation time i had accummilated and was cutting my hours and he was a real azz to work for so i been looking but can not find nothing that is not going to cost was going to start an at home business selling herba life products but the wanted 199 to start I couldn't afford it sucked and they won't guarantee that you will make money to me just not worth the investment. so if anyone finds something let me know i look for a job everyday with the temp companies but I don't have a car so it limits me as the city i am in is small and the bus only runs a little in the town

Now I got fired over a year ago and believe me they had no reason. I'd been with them over two years. Single mom with two kids and had just left my "mean" husband. Needless to say I do get unemployment, very little and have been looking extensively for work....no luck at all and a little freaked out.

I also have a small child during the day and now watch my 3 grandkids also.

So I had started my own web-site of these things I make, sold a couple of things but nothing to pay any bills.
Couldn't afford to keep it open, they shut it down.

So I had a family member who had done these paid surveys on-line pay per click things and she stays home and seems to be doing well. Now this is a Job!!!! Woo hee. I am on the Internet most of the day doing all that I can to get a few dollars here and there. It's not much, but hey better than what I had before. So I sign up for most everything and try it out to see what pays and what doesn't ... Long hard process , but hey what else have I got to do right. Good luck to allll.

I have not had a job since December 2007, I worked in In Home Care and my doctor told me not to lift over 10 pounds on a regular basis and they sent the letter to my work place and my supervisor told me my job requires me to be able to lift at least 100 pounds and they might have to let me go so instead of getting fired I quit which now I am thinking I should of let them fire me and I would of got my disability by now.

I will say that selling my worldly possessions on ebay has helped.  You can list 50 items for free every month, so it is absolutely risk free.  And you get to get rid of stuff you would just take to Goodwill, anyway!  DVDs, Playstation games and kids clothing sell well!

What kind of new job?
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

Go online and research Mystery Shopping. But beware , there are scams. Legitimate Mystery shopping jobs will never charge you for job offers. There seems to be steady work for this. I just started this a couple weeks ago and by months end I will have done about 6 shops for a total of $150. It's not much, but it helps me. I also have a part time job, 5 hours a day that restricts my time to Mystery shop. I lost out on a $110.00 job because the hours conflicted with my other job. It was an 8 hour shop, and it was $13.75 an hour. I also lost out on a $25.00 job that would have required about one hour of my time and about $3.00 worth of gas. Again, because of my other job. I guess I'm in better shape than most, but I honestly would like to quit my main job and only mystery shop. ( I have 2 pensions from other jobs I've worked) But my point is, that if you are in need of extra money, it can be made Mystery Shopping.

I agree.  I have been doing this myself for years.  I love it, but it IS work.  Be prepared to pay attention to detail and write a full, well-written, comprehensive report on your experience.  Sometimes people go in expecting to just get some free meal and then are angry when they are not paid.  It's not a free meal.  It is a free meal for reporting what type of service the restaurant and employees gave while you were there.  As long as you are okay with paying attention to detail and writing, it is great!!!

I know the feeling jobs are scarce and far in between, I have been looking for a job ever since I moved into my own place it is kind of hard to buy washer and dryer with out a job. lol But it is kind of hard to find a job when the economy is so missed up. There is a post that my sister posted on facebook and it goes something like this If you cross the North Korean border illegally you get 12 years hard labor. If you cross the Afghanistan Border illegally you get shot. Two American just got eight years for crossing the Iranin Border. But if someone crosses the U.S. border illegally you get a place to live, food stamps, health care, housing, child benefits, education and a tax free business for seven years. No wonder we are a nation in debt. Who agrees/
