Oh your so lucky to be getting some rain. We have only had 3" in 6 months. My garden really need it. Our whole state is in dire need of rain. (N.M.) One of the fires has burned almost 300,000 acres so far and only 30 percent contained and another one has already burned a lot of acreage and already destryed 25 ;homes. The fires are in the mountains and no roads to get to most of it. Pray for rain for our state.

Here in Pensacola we got over 13 inches of rain on Saturday and evern more Friday and today, probably well over 20 inches in just a couple of days.  No end in sight.  It's flooded everywhere.  Glad I didn't have to get out in it!  The landscapers will have a heyday when it dries out!

Here in New Mexico we never get enough rain, really no sense in gardening here, we just plant naturally found foliage and let nature take its course.
