Summer yard sales
« on: June 04, 2012, 08:56:40 am »
these are the best. You can find the best stuff. I had big plans for this summer, and all this money saved up just for it. But you know how life is. Don't have any money now. But I still wanna check some out and maybe buy a few things here and there.

You can find some good deals from yard sales! Some have a lot of things to look at and buy!

I love yard sales, not just getting the deal, but discovering things. You never know what you'll find.

Yard or Garage sales are great! A good way to find things you want or need for a reasonable price. Also a great way to clean out your closets and cupboards s make some extra money.

I host a yard sale maybe every 3 years.  I do the boutique option all the time.  Certainly, this year my sister is pregnant with the first grandchild (I'm getting a niece!! :binkybaby:) I'd so rather find deals at a yard sale than pay a ridiculous price for something in a store....knowing the baby is going to poop or get sick on it.

I'm a pretty big fan of yard sales, but rarely have them myself.
I love to find old music and cheap books when browsing

we usually have one yard sale a summer...its pretty funny, our neighbor alwaysssss comes buy stuff from us, then when she has one, my mom buys things from her.  so it's like all they do is swap junk each year and then forget that they got it from each other the previous year lol

I'm not sure about going shopping at others' garage sales, but I'm definitely gonna host one.  I have so much stuff built up over the years... if I don't sell some, the cast of "Hoarders" is gonna show up and lock me down...
