Gas Prices
« on: May 14, 2012, 05:17:51 pm »
I am interested. What does Gas Cost in your area
Then, I would like to know, is how we can reduce the price of Gas?

I for one, am eating a lot of beans, connecting my ..wallet.. ok, so my *bleep* to a methane pump. I therefore recommend, methane gas pumps to be avalialble for free. So we can get off of oil, and get the methane pumps to plug into our cars. So,.... when you run out of gas,..... just eat more beans. Sounds like environment great to me.

Too funny...LOL! Gas is at three dollars and seventy nine cents a gallon in our area (Denver, Colorado).  If we use a grocery store code we are able to get the gas at ten cents less a gallon which saves us about ten dollars a month. I put a dollar into the bank every time that I use my grocery discount...for investing.  You can also go to the big box stores like Costco and/or Sams and their gas is usually about ten cents cheaper.  Going to discount gas stations, those tht already have discounted gas prices, can cause trouble for your car.  I started using Western, which was bout fifteencents cheaper, developed a knocking sound in my engine and was told by my mechanic to stop using Western.

Gas is about $3.73 a gallon for regular outside of Denver. I try to go to Sinclair or the other American companies when I can in the hope that it will bring down the demand and cost of foreign gas.

I live in North Dakota. I just come back here and permanent relax by living here peacefully. Here, this town is always in fever with inflation, but it's still better than other towns and cities. Gas prices increase as other goods do. It's almost 4 $ now. It make bus fare never go down again. I am crazy about the bus fare now. How I can handle that in the winter? ???

I live in NW PA and it's $3.69 per gallon.
There are really simple things that you can do to reduce your gas use, try carpooling and making fewer trips. If you live in town you can also walk or ride a bike or the bus to wherever you're going.

In Southern California regular is at 4.55/gal.  They say it is because all of the local refineries have to close down to clean to do our summer gas mixture (creates less pollution).  Funny how they are unable to figure out how various refineries can close down on different weeks, instead of just bumping the gas prices 15 cents over night.  Then they keep being so surprised that more and more people are riding the MTA (trains and buses!).  The price of gas will be creating less pollution as more people park their cars.

Gas is about $3.50 per gallon in south Florida but still too high. I believe it will continue to decline until the election. Then, who knows? I like riding my electric tricycle. I use a solar recharger for the battery so I have NO gas bill. ;D

Gas prices are always fluxing here in Jersey. Especially from memorial to labor day prices sky rocket but never quite seem to go back down.

Currently the gas is $3.59 here in southwestern Minnesota.

Reducing the speed limit on the interstates can help reduce the amount of gas used.

Gas here in TN is about $3.41 a gallon.  I am an avid couponer and can save quite a bit at my local Kroger gas station, by saving my fuel points.  This morning I saved 10 cents per gallon.  Every little bits counts!

I paid $3.52 yesterday and that's cheaper than other places in my area because I get my gas at BJ's where I am a member.
