Clearsky internet provider
« on: May 23, 2012, 08:43:08 am »
We are in the middle of moving and won't be able to carry our comcast account out to the new place.  There service isn't out there.  So we've been referred to a company called clearsky.  Has anyone out there heard of these guys?  Any clue if there reliable or am I going to run into internet connection problems?  Thanks in advance.

I have never heard of that company. Will it be satellite, DSL, 3G? I've used all 3 and can tell you my experience w/those companies

I know it's not DSL - I believe it's satellite because my neighbors keep calling it Wifii.

hmm cause I had a company where they literally attached a satellite to my house but the other that was 3G was also referred to as wimax. It was just a box that looked like any other modem or router - I really liked it but if they changed the direction of their satellite on the tower it messed it up for certain sides of our town

I've heard of it - but it's not available in my area.  I thought it might be an option during a time when Comcast was getting real expensive, since their prices are much lower.  Usually, though, you get what you pay for.  And since I use the computer to work, I need a reliable internet service.  Look it up - google it - see what you can find out.
