Why drink?

When I was much younger I used to drink with friends and we  would live for the weekends when we could party and drnk,  but I got to a point where I just couldn't stand experiencing another hangover. Those are the worst!!! That is what made me quit and that was over 20 years ago.

I don't drink very often the only time is usually birthdays just to have fun.

Not everyone who drinks is an alcoholic. Sometimes people drink just to loosen up and have fun with friends and to relax. There's nothing wrong with it in moderation. A little wine has even been shown to be good for your health. And a little brandy is good for a sore throat.

Moderation is the key!  Some peoples are just stupid.  My mother used vodka for all sorts of remedies and she was no drunkard.

Hi Krissi79, in my younger days  had many friends that drank but  chose NOT to. they use to call me a "party pooper" but I ddnt care I just dont like liquor...anyways as the years went on and they looked waaaaaay older then our ages due to all that booze...a couple have said to me GINNY we just wanted to say how much we admired you for NOT drinkng and following the crowed... I was shocked I always thought that they thought I was some "NERD" "DWEEB" or whatever words we use to say back then lol.....anyways why i'm saying this I havent a clue...but try hun just sitting back and watching your friends make A$$ES out of themselves it's kinda humorus lol...but I loved them all still

At my school it was drugs more that drinking. We had kids that took horse tranquilizers and killed one of them and damaged the brain of another. It is ashame that their lives were wasted.

I don't drink (nothing that you get boozed with) just coke, water & coffee.

idk why, but when I do, it's for social reasons. Some of us work hard in the week days, so we look forward to spending our weekends drinking a cool one.
