Yep, we are giving out way too much information. If it wasn't for the ability to {REDACTED} I would not even bother {REDACTED}. I say the {REDACTED} still works best. Keep the {REDACTED} and unable to {REDACTED}.

Did you do the "{REDACTED}" redactions to make a point or, is this the first post to get redacted?

I am encouraged by the fact that I am not the only one that feels like I do on this!  I have found, and I am amazed, at just how mean and evil a person can be! They take advantage of ANY person just to make a buck or whatever.  It is scary and sad!

It's really too late! Big brother is here and here to stay. He's already got what he needs in place to spy on us and keep track of what we do and how we live.

The information you choose to give out isn't really what you have to worry about - you make that choice whether or not to do so.  It's the information companies and the government gets and keeps about you without your knowledge that's most alarming.

Concerning info we give out and cell phone issues:

I personally don't give out certain info, no matter whether I'll get paid for it or not. There is no amount of money that is worth someone stealing your identity.
As for the cell phone issue, apparently I don't have to worry about that because:
Every single time I punch in my cell number for Any offer or survey it's simply not excepted as a valid number , so I never get past that page, don't ever get to the confirmation page. Which means I never seem to get credit for the big buck offers. So, in that respect I have no worries and I'll just keep doing the pocket change offers and surveys, videos etc....

Yes, sometimes I get nervous giving out too much information. I guess I feel like the best I can do is try to use good common sense about what information to give out.
