my baby is growing up.

My son will turn 16 on the 15th of this month and I'm having a really  hard time dealing with it lately.  He's a head taller than I am, well ok I'm 5'2, so more than a head taller lol..taller than my hubby even, a sophomore in high school, about to get his drivers license and already talking about getting a summer job.  I'm so proud of him, if someone asks me about him, its hard NOT to brag about what a great kid he is.  I just cant stop looking at him and seeing him as my little boy that would toddle to me reaching up for mommy's hugs lol.  Why does it have to be so hard to let them go, even though at the same time you're beaming with pride at the way they're growing up?

congrats lol i know how you feel my nice is already 9 and i met her like 5 years ago like when she was little.. damn time flies..
