Diets will only work if you don't give up with the diet routine that you started.

I've known some people who had good luck with Medifast. I haven't personally tried it since you are required to purchase their packaged food for an expensive price. But if you have the money for it I would recommend it based on the results I have seen.

I am on one now.Nothing seems to work.Mine is not that I am overeating, somehow I don't think I am taking in enough. But if I'm not hungry why eat.I do take in less than 1000 a day.I have counted everything I eat

      Here are some good tips:

          -Stay away from kitchens!
-When hungry, avoid sugar, salt, fat and too many calories.
Those are cakes, breads, pasta, rice, burgers...and more.
-Have a good breakfast: oatmeal, cereals, shake or meal bar.
-Drink plenty of water and juices.
           And exercise every day!

The absolute best way to lose weight and still have proper nutrition is to simply watch what you eat and exercise. They "need" to be added together as a plan. You won't go very far doing just one. In my opinion, I would go for more exercise because it gives you lots of benefits. Also, the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn. You can be looking lean and athletic. Diet itself will probably produce a lanky looking body. Exercising while eating fatty foods will slow down any improvements drastically. If you add both diet and exercise, I guarantee you will get results. And remember, results don't come in over night so patience is the key! I wish good luck to you.

Also, keep a check on your hormones, particularly thyroid.  And make sure that your T4 thyroid hormone converts to the active T3 at the cellular level.  T3 is the metabolism hormone.  You can always look up Wilson's Temperature syndrome or Dennis Wilson, MD of Wilson's Syndrome.

Watch the carbs also, as too many carbs (and sweets as mentioned above) can make the insulin go up and if that continues, one can become insulin resistant and eventually depleted.

All the above suggestions of exercise, drinking water, and a well balanced diet.  Dancing is a real good exercise, as well as walking, swimming and bicycling.

We eat a well balanced diet, but every now and then we do splurge and have a pizza.

Im on a 800-1000 calorie diet a day. I'm loosing weight fast. But u have to exercise not every day but every other day or so. And drink nothing but wAter. I usually skip breakfast eat about 400 calories at lunch... Bandanna for snack which is 100 calories and then 400 at supper. It's not that hard once u get in the routine. Eat as much vegetables as u want until ur full. Stay under a 1000 calories a day and Ull def lose weight. And no matter what anyone says what it comes down to is the less u eat the less u gain weight

I just started Weight Watchers again. I lost weight a few years ago on it and kept it off and want to lose more. It takes a few bucks to sign up online, it's cheaper if you go to the meetings but I like online. Once you get the hang of it and the points for your favorite foods it's easy..I love it and hope I do well again. Good luck to you.
