    Hi peeps, how many of you actually participate in those offers that offer a 30 day free member for a say dollar, for instant money credit that could
              range from 5 dollar to 8 or 9 dollars ?  Do any of you do it and mark your calender so you make sure you cancel before the 30 days are
              up, only because you want the instant credit?

As a regular practice I don't do those. For some reason I feel they may be dangerous to my wallet.

I don't do these either. My luck I would still forget to cancel and be charged the $16 per month or however much it is.
