I am so tired of politicians and the lies. It makes me crazy around election time. You never know who to believe.

EXACTLY! I guess running for office automatically makes you a self serving liar.

Why would a honest person want to run for political office? Your life is an open book, every word you've ever uttered is scrutinized, you lose your privacy, and you have to beg people for money. Why would any decent person want to put themself or their family through that?

I know what you are saying is true but without honest people we will never get better.  Do  we have a catch 22?

Out of all the politicians I have observed over the years, I do believe Ron Paul is one such politician.

It's really too bad that we ahve to deal with lying politicians. But that's a fact of life that will never go aay. I'm thankful that there are some honest politicians with high morals. But they are very much out-numbered by the phonies.

I would have to agree with you! Btw I'm pretty sure the media has decided that he is no longer in the race since they are completely ignoring his campaign.
On a side note, I do not think that our government or political system is set up to involve honest, hardworking Americans. It is set up to benefit the elite, those who have an agenda that has little to do with what is good for the country. This being said, the electoral college chooses who the president is.

Doesnt it make you wonder why stand for it? put it up with? there are more of us than there are of them (politicians), but we let them get away with the corruption. sigh
