The gas prices just made me more angry with those friggin' republicans. You know, those politicians that are in bed with the oil companies. I will be voting for Obama.

Considering gas prices have doubled since Obama took office, and considering he and those in his administration want higher gas prices and consider higher gas prices to be a 'good' thing, and considering most Obama advocates support the strange liberal variation of 'paying your fair share' I find your comments strange.  Or did I misunderstand what you meant and that you actually want the prices higher than they currently are?

Higher gas prices have certainly affected our household.  I drive an older Tahoe and you know it doesn't get good mileage but I love the vehicle and couldn't afford a new vehicle even if I wanted one.  The only time I've actually filled the tank up in the last couple of years has been on the rare occasions when I drive out of town and last time it was close to $80 to fill up.  That, and the rising costs of groceries keeps me sitting at home when I'd rather be out and about.

Yes of course but to blame the oil companies is ridiculous.  This is Obama's and he wants the cost to be at least $8.00 a gallon.  The price is set by the speculators but our lack of drilling is raising the cost.  Obama has stopped all drilling everywhere he can.

the high gas prices have affected my wallet. I have had to cut back on dinning out as well as going to the movies. I have been spending more time at home on here :)

No it dont seem near as bad as last time prices went this high, I think people learned to be more careful with their money this time.

Yeah, its hurt us.  Not so much in the sense we drive a car vs others who drive suvs or trucks but it still hurts us since I drive 45 one way to work just so I can have a high enough paying job to pay bills and the rising gas cost.  I have to work overtime whenever I can just to help out with it really.  It sucks and its suppose to just keep going up.  :crybaby2:
