Most people wherever they live, they think it is the best.  I live in Southern California and love it, we have lived for long periods in other areas, but always come back "HOME".  I think maybe it is because we have so much history and family here.  Have visited New York and found it a fun place to be, but it just wasn't home.   I think I would like to have the money to have several different homes and styles  in different areas, because I do love the different parts of the country and the different life styles, and stay in each for a few months or weeks at a time.

I lived in NYC for 6 months.  There are things I liked about it but only for a short time it would really wear on me if I had to live there only because I know what it's like to live other places.  NYC is ugly, expensive and I just did not like living in a crowded concrete jungle.  I need a yard, trees, and space.

I live in north west Texas. I don't know if it's better than New York. I'm sure there's a world of difference between the two. I would love to visit New York sometime.

Ive been to new york --- sooo many people, soo many things going out.  If you like that, than that is your style.  Not as clean as other big cities though.
