Stiff neck?

Just wondering if anyone here has ever heard of stiff neck? The doctor told me that on top of having  migraines I have stiff neck. He said my neck does nnotcurve like it should., so that makes the migraines even worse.  The last one lasted for three weeks. Three days in the hospital. All new meds. No caffenie,

yaaa! i went to the doctors as well for my migraines for i was getting it like 3-5 times a day, but he just said its from my stiff shoulders or something.  >_>  blaaah.. no medicine or anything...  :-  is it that normal to get major headaches that often??

Stiff neck? I didn't know those two were related. I used to get frequent migraines two years ago, but now I rarely get them. I also had bad neck pain (I pinched a nerve). It would make sense now that my neck pain was a factor in those migraines.

Muscle tension can constrict blood vessels and that can cause headaches.  It can come from stress, overwork or sinus congestion.  When I was first diagnosed with sinus congestion I thought I was dying of mono or something.  I had aches all over like the flu without flu symptoms.  I would try heat, wet or dry, on a stiff neck.  I turn to chili peppers or horseradish if my sinuses are congested.  I hear a netti pot works well.  I'd also look up acupressure points for headaches.  Good luck.
