Not real familiar with it, but I did think that I had noticed on a commercial usage of words such as "easy".  In general, easy does not produce results.  Now granted it could have ergonomic advantages to reduce injuries or repetitive discomfort, but for the most part results will come from the difficulty of the exercise.  Some people often reply to such logic with statements like "yeah but this is something I would do" and my typical reply is something like "yes you may indeed sustain it longer than the more difficult devices but you would not endure long enough to get any worthwhile results and it would become another dust collector/coat rack".
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

You got that right!!  The TreadClimber and most of the other turn out to be really expensive.

I would love to be able to purchase the tread climber, but they are expensive and finances are very iffy.

I've yet to find anything better than the gym you're born with.....just move your body!  Jump, bend, crawl, run, pull and press!  It's amazing!

I've seen the informercial for the treadclimber from Bowflex and if I had the time & extra cash for it, I'd be very tempted to order it.  I don't think any machine is going to produce miracles for anyone, it all depends on how much a person uses it and their diet & metabolism and many other considerations. lt definitely has more benefits to it than not using it and could be an effective form of excercise especially for someone with no time to go to the gym and bores easily with traditional excercise.  I've had a Nordic Trak and a Gazelle Glider and both of those were advertised as "easy"--easy on the joints and easy for anyone to do.  I use both machines regularly and can tell a difference in the toning in as little as a week if I don't use them.  They don't keep me "super model thin" but they do help with toning and flexibility and heart rate and give me more energy.  I've had them both for years and because they ARE easy---they'll never be "coat racks".
