why do people cheat

People cheat because it is not human nature (or that of any other primate for that matter) to be monogamous. Females build the "nest" and males go to as many "nests" as possible and spread their seed.

People cheat in many ways and I don't know why. So many times what goes around, comes around (and we don't even have to be there).

They are always hoping for something better. They say men cheat more than women but I think it is about equal. I personally think women cheat more than men. Every girl who I ever went out with was cheating on someone.

i have cheated and it's no picnic. dont do it coz then u will be left regretting it and it will bite u in the  .

well, i've never cheated, but if i had to take a guess
i would assume that people cheat for a number of
reasons...

*they like the attention and are too selfish to give up
one in order to enjoy the other.
*they have commitment issues with not only relationships,
but other things in their life.
*they're unhappy and don't know how to communicate it to their
partner, or don't want to deal with it entirely, and justify their
actions by thinking they deserve to be happy.

I think that is a question that cannot be easily answered.
People cheat for a variety of reasons:
lack of commitment
selfishness
boredom
problems in relationships
under the influence of drugs
mental health issues

I am sure the list goes on and on.

People cheat because they are selfish and want to keep both relationships so they can benefit from both. People cheat because they are cowards and don't want to face a declining relationship and the changes it brings. People cheat rather than lose assets in a divorce. People cheat because they are randy worthless creeps.
