We lost a Great actor today. Harry Moran was 96. Colonel Potter from TV Classic M*A*S*H and Dragnet.  :(

Harry Morgan spanned an amazing time in entertainment. You can see him in old black and white movies from the 1940's. I think he was also the husband on an early sitcom called "Decenber Bride" with Sprin Byington. Thank you Harry! :notworthy:

RIP Harry Morgan.  He was a wonderful character actor.  I enjoy watching him in the old westerns he was in before Dragnet an M*A*S*H.
Have a wonderful day!

Yes, that was mentioned in the obituary. Is that show worth seeking out (online or on dvd)?

At first I was skeptical of him taking the place of Henry Blake as the Kernal in charge.  But after a couple of episodes and learning that he was not going to play the character as a goofball I began to accept him in the roll and found that he was an interesting addition to the cast.  May your rest be peacful as you sleep with the angels.   :angel11:

RIP Colonel Potter.  I never get tired of MASH reruns.  The dynamics between actors was great so from my point of view...Colonel Potter...lives on as long as I own a TV.

Have a great day!
