Do you love mac and cheese?

It's like my favorite food in the whole world! When I had my appendix out ( at the age of 42 mind you) They wouldn;t let me eat anything but jello, broth icees, coffe and tea. I gues the appendix is attached to the bowel and they didn't want any action down there until a little healing took place. So this went on for about 2 days. I remember telling the nurse I would "kill" for a plate of mac n' cheese. Lo and behold when they finally let me eat, I took off the plate cover and yep, mac n' cheese! To this day I don't know if the Nurse  did it, or she told my doctor and he ok'd it. What I do know is how grateful I was for that!

Not my most favorite food, however, it must be a fresh batch of homemade for me to eat it.

I love mac n cheese too!    I really like it baked in the oven.  My kids and husband would much rather have it out of a box than homemade....Go figure..

Just polished off some Mac and Cheese today.  Is it just me, or does mac n cheese seem better the 2nd day???

I am old enough that I used to make it from scratch.  Kraft hadn't come out with their boxes.  My kids and grandkids will eat the boxed stuff, but I won't touch it.  The grandkids don't know any better.  I have kind of lost my taste even for the made from scratch stuff.

I really don't care for mac and cheese myself but my darling husband just loves it! He doesn't care if it is from scratch or the box lol but I make both for him.
