The limitless handles of a PC, oh how I love the freedom to risk.

A PC with a twist, I have Mint Linux installed. I get the benefits of a MAC with virus immunity, but at about HALF the cost and double the speed for the buck.

I love my MAC, but I can easily and happily use a PC too.
I own both in fact...though my husband used my PC since he is more familiar with them. Before we set it up though, he was using my MacBook and admitted that he was starting to grow quite fond of it.

Depends on what you want a computer for and/or how tech savy you are. I personally, as an IT professional, prefer windows based computers. It's what I am used to and I do not feel like changing atm. Keep in mind that Macs have a high barrier of entry $$$$$$$. Cost for cost, I could buy myself a computer in parts that would be 5 times better than a Mac for the price. The one really good thing about Macs is the Operating System. Windows sucks big time. It's garbage. Mac OS on the other hand is extremely stable. When people ask me whether they should buy a Mac or not I always ask them what they intend to use their new computer for. If it is for work, get a regular old fashioned pc, otherwise give the Mac a try. In the past I would have also mentioned how Macs just don't have as much support, compatibility, and software. Now a days it doesn't matter it is really a personal choice.

You sir, are smart.  ;)
