How are you supposed to know
« on: November 30, 2011, 07:41:11 am »
what credit card to apply for?  Does anyone have any suggestions to what one is best?  I was hoping there was some kind of a quiz so you could rank what is and isn't important to you regarding a credit card...I really wanted to sign up for one with a balance transfer and no interest for the first year.  I have been trying to pay off a certain credit card for the past 2 years but with a nearly 30 percent interest rate I have gotten no where.

There are lots of sites that do comparisons for credit cards.  Just search for what you want (ie balance transfer, no annual fees etc) and you will find the cards you can apply for.  Credit Karma is a good site they will give you a ballpark range of what your credit score is and they will suggest cards you can apply for based on your score.

I would also go with one that has a cash back incentive.  Like the commercial says "Who wouldn't want cash back?".
