Alltel commercials changing?

Anyone notice the new alltel commercials aren't poking fun at Verizon anymore?
I heard Verizon bought them out.
I just thought it interesting how quickly the advertisement changed

I suppose that'll increase their network coverage, but the less wireless companies there are, the less competition, the more the remaining companies will charge, etc. etc. etc...

though, in all earnesty, the kickbacks are probably good enough that I wouldn't be making fun of Verizon any more either.

Yes, I've seen a Verizon commercial already that said something about "we've partnered up with Alltel" or something like that.  I am both excited (because more people will be "IN" my Verizon unlimited call plan) and sad (because I'm worried about price hikes once there is only 1 cell company in my area).

That is interesting.  I didn't know that Verizon bought out Altell.  They really have changed their adds, but now that you talk about the buyout it explains the Verizon quietness during the commercial.
