Hey there,
I signed up for this as I'm kinda in a rut, and needing something I can do from home due to a bad knee (bad enough to be discharged from service for it). I saw there was a $5 signup bonus, and I've completed all of the steps in the account tab, verified email, phone, etc. But it still shows $0.00 on the account tab. I also did one of the surveys and it hasn't shown up either. I'm still sitting at $0.
I'm a little weird about my computer, being a computer technician and networking specialist, so I have been usign Firefox with NoScript and Adblock. Should I install a secondary FF-based browser to do these surveys and stuff with? I will not be using Internet Explorer as activeX poses too much of a potential security threat, and I'm fairly iffy about some of these sites (Neilsen is the one I just did) that want me to install a program on my computer.
I'm looking for an honest way to make some money to hold myself over with, but I'm getting frustrated with the scams I've seen as well as the sites that ask for CC information (I don't even have one), or other things like installing programs on my computer. I've actually been considering using a second computer with Ubuntu Linux for this since it is much more secure.
So did I do something wrong, or did NoScript/AdblockPlus mess up the survey tracking?
Some pointers on best practices would be nice too, being that I am very new here.
Thanks!
[update] The Neilson survey just took effect, I noticed it pop up on my account tab. Still no signup though

[update] Saw another post after posting this in the 'Related' section, that showed the final step to the $5 sign-up bonus. Perhaps the site should offer this link without having to check forum, as it would save confusion, bandwidth, and aggravation! Thanks to previous posters for the information! [/update]
Could still use some pointers from any experienced users on how to best earn some money here. I do see that there is no external linking, but if it is not against the rules, I'm also looking for a part/full time real job. I have sales and data entry skills, and am quite 'computer savvy'. Unfortunately many of th eplaces I have looked that seemed promising required a landline telephone which I do not have, and being 'strapped' as I am, I have no means to get one for the moment.
