We only had Turkey, dressing and brocilli cassaro;e this year, all the other is to much for just 2 people.

I live alone and usually save the stuffed turkey for Christmas.  I usually want some form of poultry though so I'll fix a chicken or game hen.  Nate Berkus had a chef on this season who demonstrated a rib recipe for Thanksgiving.  I still like poultry for me though.

The whole idea came from celebrating the harvest, new friends and survival.  Setting your own traditions is perfectly fine.  Try incorporating some of your husband's cultural dishes alongside traditional American Thanksgiving food.  A coming together of cultures is traditional.   :peace:
