when you call a service company

i hate when they tell you they will be there at a certain time so you sit and wait wait wait it drives me crazy

Some service companies I call will give me just an estimate eg 8am-12 or 12-4pm. Those I can deal with. At least I can get things done if I have errand. I hate the companies that say between 8am-4pm. You sit and wait all day and it never fails- they show up at 3:45. Drives me crazy!

Usually any companies can handle any problem if "you" follow the instructions they will give you. They may say that if they find you negligent and not until you owe them money they will not take you serious.
