I hear when you want to address an issue with your partner you should try to say I feel.... instead of you did this you you you because it makes them feel attacked but sometimes this isn't always possible.  If you want the other person to know specifically what they did don't you have to say, "yesterday you blah blah blah and it hurt my feelings..."
