Do you prefer a fad singer or someone whose been around for a while?

I prefer not jumping on the bandwagon and listen to people who’ve been around for a while.  So I’ll take someone like Jesse McCartney over Justin Beiber.  I don’t want to look back on my music collection (which is massive in song collection as well as cd’s) and find one person I liked two years ago that I don’t like now or can’t even remember why I liked that particular song.  I wanna person I can go through my collection and find then flip on the radio and rock to a new song of theirs playing on the radio like five, ten years later.  I mean no one hears the Hanson brothers (mmm bop fame) on the radio anymore but they are still around and they are still making music I like to listen to.
