Snow

I couldn't believe that I was out shoveling about 6 inches of snow from my driveway this morning here in New Jersey. it is not Halloween yet.

Snow? No way! Not yet.  I am here in Atlanta GA and we have sunny cool skies and halloween is tomorrow night.

Ya im in western PA we got a couple inches, but it mostly melted since yesterday, suppose to go into the 50s next week so not time for all that yet.

I'm in California and the days have been like an early Spring with Fall foliage. Not too cold or hot.....just perfect walking weather. Love it!  Not ready for the snow or cold weather yet. I do remember this time last year it was very cold already for the whole month of October. I hope this delay in the really cold weather means we will have an easy Winter. Our Spring and Summer was short and wet.

What is it?
I've never seen it.
I've only heard of it mentioned in legends.
They say the sky falls down upon the land, but gently.
Everything is frozen and schools close down for days.

Thats crazy...I moved from the east coast to Michigan and i'm not getting any snow and they are!! and meanwhile every one said not to move here cause of the bad snow.

I grew up in Western New York.  I'm glad I'm not there now.  It makes for beautiful photos, but other than that I don't like it or miss it.  Good to hear that Michigan hasn't had any yet.  My brother lives there.

We had a wild Friday night & Saturday morning here in central VA as the storm moved through--yesterday was goregous though, real fall weather.

I live in Minnesota and we were fortunate not to get it.  It will come soon enough.

I feel so bad for all of the northeast.  I live in KY and it's been cold but nice so far.  I'll be in Buffalo this weekend, so hopefully we have no weather issues!

Gave the kids something to talk about, I don't think we will have too many more Halloween pictures with snow in the background.

We had our 2nd snow this morning! I'm glad I don't need to drive on a day like this. I've been living here in Colorado for 8 years but still nervous and afraid to drive when it snows. My husband was born and raised here so he doesn't mind driving in the snow at all though.
