Do you trick or treat?

I have been taking my children trick or treating every year. One of his cousins on his dad's side got upset because they are not allowed to go trick or treating. I had a hard time explaining why we go and they dont. Do you take your kids out to trick or treat?

Yes I take my kids to the mall or other safe places for trick or treating.

We use too when thenkids were little, but we don't celebrate halloween at all due to our christian faith.

Nah, not anymore, since I can just buy candy now. But I do dress up for Halloween and go out to parties. Halloween is sooo fun, my favorite holiday.

My husband usually takes the kids out while I hang out at the door with the candy bowl. We get most of our candy at the church's Trunk or Treat. At a trunk or treat, people decorate their trunks and pass out candy in the church parking lot while the kids go around from car to car. This way, the kids & their friends can show off their costumes to each other. This proves handy because it always snows here on Halloween- can't get that kind of guarentee for Christmas here- and the kid can get their candy in a short amount of time in a safe environment. LOL
