If your husband keep lying to you but they are small lies, what should you do?

Give him a altimatium (however you spell it) and if he keeps going the wrong direction, leave him!  :fish:

I had th same problem with my husband. I told him that if I could not trust him to tell the truth about the little things, then there was no way I could believe he was telling the truth about anything. A relationship is built on trust both ways. I told him I would rather he tell me the truth about EVERYTHING or say 'I cannot tell you' rather than try to mislead me. It has releved a lotof stress and tension.

Reflect deeply upon your own small lies and whether or not a confrontation regarding them justifies the hypocrisy.

The deeper question you need to be asking is why is he lying? And what kind of things is he lying about? When a person lies repeatedly, its a strong indication of fear and trust issues that he has that he hasn't fully dealt with yet. I would pay close attention to what his triggers are that cause him to lie.

give an ultimatum
The question is whether or not YOU have the courage to confront him and stand your ground! Forget about what everyone else thinks, you need to handle your business!

I think you should consult with a marriage counselor with your marital problems or try to work things out alone between you and your spouse. Anybody who lies out of habit will eventually not be able to distinguish between what is truthful and a lie. It gets people into a lot of trouble.  :angry7:

Sincerity is the best. Confront him, but don't force him. Try to kindly talk to him, and know why he does it, if we doesn't trust you enough and why.

I'd tell him that if he couldn't tell me the truth to just not talk to me at all.
Have a wonderful day!

I don't like it when I am lied to even if it is a small thing.  Why does he need to lie to you anyways especially when it is somthing small.  Tell him to grow up.
