Which do you prefer! DELL OR MAC!!!!!!!

we have a few computers which are all dells.
when i was in college, they had a mac lab
and a regular PC lab... i really couldn't get
used to the mac. they didn't seem as "open"
or something. i don't know how to explain it.

i'm probably just biased because i didn't grow
up on a mac and it's a very different feeling.
i know how to "baby" my dell, whereas i wouldn't
know the first thing to do with a mac if something
went wrong

PCs are better. There is more bang for your buck. The same specs cost half the price of the MAC. PCs make it easier to upgrade the hardware, etc...
All and all MAC is an image, it is all hype. I've used MACs when I was in school and they really aren't anything special just come with at a hefty price.

As for manufacture such as HP or Dell. I haven't had much preference I have had many computers from many different makes and I haven't noticed much of a difference. I currently have a Dell Laptop that I am happy with and an HP desktop computer. No problems with either.

I prefer my PC. I own an acer.

I don't care for Dell or Mac, but I assume by Dell you mean PC.  I always build my own computers as almost invariably you can get superior quality parts at a better value (although I have seen a few exceptions where a prebuilt or branded computer was at an unbeatable value.  I don't necessarily have anything against the Mac it is just I have a preference to the PC platform.

I'm usin my husband's Dell (PC) right now but I prefer Mac. I have a macbook and it's getting old and acting weird but still I like Mac.
